Historical Buildings
Local history is brought to life through the 4 main buildings located on the site: the Serrano Adobe, the El Toro Grammar School, St George's Episcopal Mission, and the Bennett Ranch House. There is also a Native American Kiicha and various antique farming implements and other historical items scattered around the park site.
Picnic area
Visitors are welcome to stroll the grounds and explore the history on their own or simply enjoy the picnic area. Heritage Hill provides a peaceful oasis in the middle of Lake Forest.
Chuckwagon
Numerous historical artifacts can be found around the grounds. This chuckwagon, for example, is a recent addition to the park and was used on the Baker Ranch locally for many years. It served as sleeping quarters and kitchen for ranch hands working miles from the central ranchhouse.
